2012: The Year in Wine Blogging

As 2012 comes to an end it appears that these last 12 months will have resulted in just over 200 posts here at FERMENTATION: The Daily Wine Blog. That works out to just about 1 for every work day of the year and allows me to still claim credibility for “the daily wine blog” part of this blog’s title (assuming week days and holidays don’t count as real days).

You might be surprised how a blog of this type defines one’s being. This blog is the outlet for what I am thinking about, be it in the realm of wine, business, career or personal. Every year I’ve written this blog going back to 2004, I’ve spent some time at the end of the year reviewing my life by looking back at what I’ve written. Some posts I look at and think, “what in the world possessed me”? Other posts here remind me that I was possessed by some sort of inspiration. In the end, I remain pleased the results of my efforts. However, some posts please me more than others.

To that point, here are my favorite or most memorable or most rewarding posts of 12 on FERMENTATION on a month by month basis.
