Wineapalooza Paws Its Way On To The Napa Valley Scene

MdThink of it as a Mini-Napa Valley Auction.

Or maybe as a chance to contribute to the cause of animal rescue work in the Napa region

It could be seen as a chance to sample some of the Valley’s most celebrated wines.

It’s WINAPALOOZA and it’s coming to Napa Valley September 20th.

Wineapalooza is the fundraising event for Jameson Ranch Rescue, a new Animal Rescue operation founded by two of Napa Valley’s most connected people: David and Monica Stevens—best known as the proprietors of 750 Wines. Named after the hulking, wineapaloozagentle, sweet “Jameson”, a Great Pyrenees adopted by David and Monica, Jamison Ranch Rescue is a compassionate, no-kill rescue and sanctuary for homeless and rescued companion and farm animals until they ultimately find a forever home.

Jameson Ranch Rescue has the passion of its founders behind it. It has the commitment of a great board of directors. It has a plan to help find homes for the animals that desperately need them. All it needs now is a piece of land; a single piece of land where the mission of David and Monica can be fulfilled.

Enter WINEAPALOOZA!!

jamesonranchThis first fundraiser for Jameson Ranch Rescue has attracted the participation of the proprietors of some of Napa’s most prestigious estates and a collection of great chefs. And this should be no surprise. Monica and David have used their 750 Wines retail tasting rooms to put a carefully curated collection of obscure, unknown, and highly coveted wines in front of the visitors to the Valley with a particularly heightened interest in things new and special. Numerous wineries have many new customers due to the efforts of Monica and David at their 750 Wines Tasting Saloon in Saint Helena. The participation of the amazing collection of wineries supporting WINEAPALOOZA is a way for these vintners to contribute to the mission of Jameson Ranch Rescue as well as thank David and Monica for all help they’ve given to the cause of elevating interest in fine California wine.

WINEAPALOOZA will be limited to only 300 ticket holders and I’m told there are something in the neighborhood of 30 or 40 ticket remaining.
