Wine Offensive – Turned me on to Rose de Diel, the best German Rose I’ve ever tasted. “Champagne without the bubbles.”

  10. Bill Wilson - January 8, 2007

Since I only nominated one earlier, I’d like to add Professor Bainbridge to the nominations.

  11. Toni Litsinger - January 8, 2007

The Wine Commonsewer. Snell is the best!!

I would nominate Wine Library TV [WLTV} Great reviews and very entertaining

  27. Dick Cheney - January 10, 2007

Definitely “The Red Wine Haiku Review” by Lane Steinberg.
I consider him to be the “Steven Hawking of Merlot”.
If I had to pick one person to be in an “undisclosed location” with me, it would be Lane.

  28. The Red Wine Haiku Review - January 10, 2007

These Haiku’s are not only witty, but are a fabulous approach as an expression of combining visualization and taste.

  29. Jaye - January 10, 2007

Once again I need to nominate WLTV. Host Gary Vaynerchuck does a great job of describing wines in “everyday language”. This makes wine tasting and judging accessible to everyone. And, with the help of a loyal volunteer, Chris Stanisci, the reviews are even downloadable to take with you into your local store!!

  30. Lane - January 10, 2007

Just for the record, I didn’t post that bit of self-aggrandizement above. Someone must have punched in my URL by mistake. But as long as I’m here, I’m voting for the 30 Second Wine Advisor because Robin lays it down fair & squarely square.

  31. Jim Huckin - January 10, 2007

    I nominate Cellar Tracker

  50. peter - January 10, 2007

Gary Vaynerchuk – Wine Library TV / WLTV
I’ve seen them all (other nominees so far) and no one comes close to the value-added insights, information, consistency in a delivering a high-value new program 5 DAYS A WEEK…and with a bit of humor that makes it clearly elevates it above the rest.

It’s informative and entertaining. Best of all it’s not over my head!

  93. Xavier - January 16, 2007

I vote for Neil Drinks Wine. While I think Gary from Wine Library is fun, I can gather anything he says from reading the reviewers he criticizes (ie Parker, Laube). Neal makes it a fun story and he’s a little creative when it comes to talking about wine. I say Neil Drinks Wine gets my vote for best “Wine Review Blog.”
