    Alan,

Thank you and for your support. I have to admit that this post provokes a bit of melancholy in me. It is the last here at this site after 27 years. A lot has gone down in these pages in that time. But, I don’t mind change and challenges.

When I decided to give up on a blog and create a subscription publication in 2011 (now three), it felt like I was loading everything I would need in a small boat and casting off from the shore into the unknown fully realizing that I could not return to the way it was. No regrets. Best of luck, Tom!

    Doug,

It’s encouraging that your trepidation sounded a lot like mine does. But, there is something exhilarating about pushing out from shore.

You can hate Russian vodka today, but ignoring the truth today, tomorrow you will “jump” with your new neo-nazis friends, and if for got sake you disagree with them it could be your last day.
