Mondovino: A Dry Whine
Here is one more review of the film Mondovino that properly points out that Jonathon Nossiter’s Documentary on…well…on something…is really just a long, dry whine.
And here’s one from the Boston Globe declaring it, "Juicy but Cloudy". Cloudy on the concept?
Here’s one from the Santa Cruz Sentinel calling the film, "overlong and rather confusing tour of various aspects of the modern wine industry." To say the least.
The Boston Herald says Mondovino is "A Bit Too Full"…Yes, indeed it is a film full of…well, full, indeed.
Over at Bay Area Inside we have a review that accurately notes the really absurd claims in the film such as, "Old Worlders also blame
international wine consultant Michel Rolland and renown wine critic
Robert Parker for stripping wine of its depth, personality and history."
