Another Wine Scribe Goes from Print To Blog

Another wine writer has taken to blogging. The newest, in what is becoming a growing list of converts to this format, is Joe Pollack, a long time writer and authority on the St. Louis wine and culinary scene.

Joe, along with wife Ann, are maintaining St. Louis Eats and Drinks with Joe and Anne Pollock.

Joe has been doing thing (writing and critiquing and offering opinion) for a lot longer than any of us in the blogosphere. He has been the theater, movie and restaurant critic for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, as well as author of numerous article for other publications and a radio and TV commentator.

The bottom line here is that Joe and Ann know St. Louis and what it offers to the culinary and wine inclined.

Joe and Ann’s contribution to the blogosphere turns out to be more than a St. Louis-centered effort. While they do deliver great restaurant reviews you are also going to get recipes, wine recommendations, travelogues and the personal experiences of very experienced gluttons for pleasure.

So chalk up another victory for the blogosphere and its allure to those who have previously made it in the printosphere.
