American Wine Blog Awards Finalists Announced
I’m very happy to announce the finalists in the 2008 American Wine Blog Awards and to announce that voting in the Awards is now open.
CLICK HERE TO VOTE IN THE 2008 AMERICAN WINE BLOG AWARDS
The finalists in each category are:
Best Wine Blog Graphics
Best Wine Business Blog
Best Overall Wine Blog
The collection of finalists above is a stellar example of all the things that are outstanding about the wine blogosphere. What I hope happens is that you not only take time to vote, but to spend time with these blogs to find in them the quality, professionalism and commitment what those who nominated them and the judges that chose them discovered.
And of course, my hope is that this process of determining the winners of the 2008 Wine Blog Awards will bring more attention to the world of wine blogging.
The judges who chose the finalists worked extremely hard, looking through each of the nominations. They should be congratulated. Their identity will be revealed at the end of the voting process.
So, there they are…the 2008 American Wine Blog Award Finalists..

We douchebags of wine are extremely disappointed that your podcast category was “Best Wine Podcast of VideoBlog” limiting only those in video. What a tragedy that audio driven podcasts such as winecast.net and 3wineguys.com (shameless plug) fail to appear despite our nominations and superiority.
Steve, it’s a terrible truth the straightforward superiority does not always win out. I’m still pissed that my HD DVD player and my Betamax are worth nothing.
I feel your pain.
Your kind words and a bottle of Peter Franus Sauv Blanc made me feel much better.
Thanks Tom
Love to know what you think of my wine review blog: http://www.winemusings.com I am open to (constructive) criticism!

your blog is very nice.
The keyboard is where most subnotebooks get it wrong. They shrink it down too much or not enough. They make the keys a little bit smooshy, or they over compensate like the HP Mininote, creating a satisfying and solid feel that unfortunately drives the price up. The Acer though is different. The keyboard is decently sized, firm and easy to use. Our standard keyboard test involves writing articles, playing some games and writing the Jabberwocky poem over and over again – and we had absolutely no problems with any of them when it came to the Acer Aspire One.
