The Fuzzy Buzz-A Unique Selling Proposition
Am I nuts, or does one get a unique buzz from drinking pastis? And If I'm right, wouldn't this be a unique selling proposition?

Dude I am so with you on this one, (drank 3 Pastis and water just last evening) another thing it does for me…unbearable “frisky”! Matters not what time of night it is, if I say, “Well I would love a Pastis but we are out” the hubby has keys in hand and is out the door.
The other day Samantha Dugan wrote that I don’t attack anything. I took that as a compliment, but, Sam, I am going to attack Mr. Wark right here and now–and you also in the process?
How in the name of all that is holy can anybody get a pleasant buzz from drinking licorice flavored milk? Rather than making me “unbearable frisky”, Pastis makes me unbearable grumpy.
I rarely drink because of the alcohol, but when I do (say on Friday nights or Saturday nights or to celebrate 49er touchdowns or the setting of the sun on most days), it is far more likely to be bourbon (sorry, Tom, not Makers but Wild Turkey) or single malt scotch than something like Pastis, which does set my neck hairs on end, but in the worst way.
Let’s talk about Kentucky sometime. Now there is a subject that can make me happy in no time at all.
Samantha..
I wasn’t going to mention it, but…
Charlie:
My experience is that the majority of folks have the same reaction to Pastis as you do. So I don’t take offense. But I’m with you on the bourbon.
Tom,
I think it’s a pretty damn good selling point no?
Charlie,
One of my friends once took a deep sip from my glass of Pastis and I swear I thought she was going to vomit right there on the patio….so I understand. Wonder if Berger likes it? (wink)
