GIVE!!!

That’s right: GIVE!!!

It’s that time when wine and food bloggers stand together with their readers to help do some good by giving. We do this via:

MENU FOR HOPE

Food and Wine bloggers across the Internet have donated prizes that should be incentive enough for your to donate to this year’s MENU FOR HOPE Charity: The UN World Food Programme. For every $10 you donate, you get a raffle ticket for the prize of your choice.

I recommend you donate and put your raffle TICKETSSSS..toward the Fermentation Prize:

Wine From Wark Communication’s Favorite Clients. The winner of this raffle item will receive one bottle each from my personal cellar:

-1997 Handley Cellars Brut Rose (Anderson Valley)
-2000 Schug Carneros Estate Pinot Noir (Carneros)
-NV Humanitas L’Huile Du Garagiste Red Table Wine (Napa Valley)
-2004 Cima Collina “Chula Vina Vineyard” Chardonnay (Monterey County)
-2004 Bucklin “Old Hill Ranch” Zinfandel (Sonoma Valley)
-2002 Astrale e Terra ARCTURUS (Atlas Peak)
-2005 Goosecross Cellars Chenin Blanc (Napa Valley)
-2005 Hook & Ladder Winery Gewurztraminer (Russian River Valley)
-2004 Saintsbury “Brown Ranch” Pinot Noir (Carneros)
-2004 Mayo Family Winery “Ricci Vineyard” Reserve Zinfandel—Old Vine

VERY IMPORTANT: The prize code for this prize is: WB05. You’ll need this information when , at the donatin page you are asked what prize you want to apply your raffle ticket to. For each $10 you donate, you get one raffle tickets.

That means, if you donate $1,000,000 you get 100,000 raffle tickets. If you donate $100 you get ten. I’d suggest you donate $1,000,000 to this cause. But I’d be just as pleased and proud if you donated $10.

So what do you do to get your hands on these wines or (if you must) attempt to get your hands on any of the other prizes being offered by wine and food bloggers?
